Supporting President's College's Covid 19 Response
President's College Alumni Inc contributed 4 contactless thermometers to President's College's Covid 19 response. These thermometers allow the school to check the temperatures of the returning exam students. Dr. Asante Leblanc also supported our alma mater’s response, donating 3 contactless thermometers. 2019 Scholarship Award Announcement
Scholarship funds are a vital part of higher education funding, especially for promising but low income students. The PCAI Need Based Scholarship Fund was established to recognize outstanding graduating students who have demonstrated financial need and have been accepted for full time studies at the University of Guyana.
Excellence is a lifelong aspiration and we aim to assist our new alumni on their continued educational journey.
Awardees
The 2018 PCAI Need Based Scholarship recipients are: Aneisha Azore and Ryan Dilchan. Both recipients deferred acceptance of the award to 2019-2020 school year..
Ms. Azore is pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture was awarded GY $253,065. Mr. Dilchan was accepted to read for an Associate’s Degree in Electrical Engineering he is currently pursuing his studies at the Cyril Potter College of Education.
Fulfilling our two scholarship obligation PCAI extended the award to the neediest of previous recipient Elroy Angus, who is in his 3rd year pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy. His award was GY $450,446. Awards are paid directly to the University.
